SPONSORSHIP
To whom it may concern:

BOPSOP is a non-profit tutoring and mentoring organization from the Georgia Institute of Technology that encourages collegiate students to positively impact the lives of inner-city youth. As a reflection of our goals, BOPSOP is an acronym for "Believe Our Purpose, Share Our Plan." The purpose of BOPSOP is to enhance the lives of youth in the Atlanta area through youth mentoring and tutoring. We emphasize the importance of cultivating relationships by encouraging community involvement among students from the Georgia Institute of Technology through accessible community service performed at the Magnolia Park Apartment Complex. We promote our seven pillars of growth, including self, mental, physical, relationship, creative, character, and culture growth through our examples, games, and activities Ensuring the success of this program, for this year and in the future, can only be accomplished with the generosity of you and your corporation.

By making a donation to BOPSOP, you will be financially supporting all of the activities and events held in the coming year as well as positively contributing to the lives of metro Atlanta youth. Some of the events and activities planned for the 2009-2010 year include the following:

-Fall and Spring Kick-off Parties
-Weekly arts and crafts activities
-Academic resources for daily tutoring
-Field Trips to socially and culturally relevant sites

Your contribution will be recognized as an advertisement that will appear on the back of each BOPSOP participant’s t-shirt.

If you have any questions about the organization or donations, please feel free to contact Kelli Hunter via email at khunter3@gatech.edu. Thank you in advance for you interest in the BOPSOP Youth Mentoring Program; we hope that you too will believe our purpose and share our plan.

Sincerely,

Paige Cruver

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
